Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) Unveils 2025 Annual Calendar and Expands Global Program Portfolio During Live Webinar
New initiatives set to support over 1,000 entrepreneurs navigating a challenging economic climate
New York, NY – January 7, 2025 — The Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE), the world’s largest digital accelerator, officially announced its 2025 program calendar during a live global webinar hosted by CEO Christine Ntim, alongside key stakeholders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
The session provided a strategic overview of emerging trends affecting entrepreneurs in today’s economic downturn, offering key insights and solutions for startup founders and program managers operating in increasingly uncertain markets.
A key highlight of the session was the announcement of the 8th Annual GSE Digital Startup Accelerator, GSE’s flagship program supporting early-stage, impact-driven entrepreneurs. The accelerator, set to open for applications in Spring 2025, will once again welcome a global cohort of over 1,000 founders seeking a structured, results-driven path from idea to market. The program has supported thousands of entrepreneurs since its inception and continues to serve as a cornerstone of GSE’s mission to democratize access to startup resources worldwide.
In addition to continuing its flagship initiative, GSE also previewed the launch of two new strategic programs scheduled to roll out in Q2 2025. These upcoming programs are designed to support startups beyond the ideation phase, offering tailored guidance for ventures preparing to scale in today’s volatile economic landscape. These new offerings reflect GSE’s expanded commitment to supporting founders throughout the full lifecycle of startup growth.
“This year, we’re doubling down on our mission to make entrepreneurial success accessible no matter where you are in the world,” said Christine Ntim, CEO of Global Startup Ecosystem. “As markets shift, so must our support systems. These new programs are designed to meet founders where they are—with the tools, network, and strategies they need to grow despite economic headwinds.”
The meeting attracted hundreds of participants from across the globe, including startup ecosystem leaders, corporate partners, and development organizations—all aligned with GSE’s mission to foster inclusive, tech-enabled entrepreneurship.
