NEW YORK, NY — October 22, 2026 — Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) today announced the 50 startup semifinalists selected to advance in the pitch competition of its 9th Annual GSE Digital Startup Accelerator, an international entrepreneurship program designed to equip founders with the tools, networks, and opportunities to build resilient, scalable businesses in the digital economy.
The announcement marks a major milestone in this year’s accelerator, which brings together entrepreneurs from around the world for practical training in business readiness, personal brand development, ecosystem leadership, artificial intelligence, and startup pitch preparation.
Public voting officially opens today, October 22, 2026, giving founders the opportunity to mobilize their communities and compete for one of 10 Demo Day presentation spots.
Community Voting: The Road to Demo Day
The 50 semifinalists will participate in a public voting round, with the 10 companies receiving the highest number of valid votes advancing to the accelerator’s virtual Demo Day on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

- Voting Opens: Thursday, October 22, 2026
- Voting Closes: Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time
- Demo Day: Thursday, October 29, 2026
- Voting Rules: One vote per person, using one email address. Duplicate or invalid entries may be excluded during vote verification.
- Results: Finalists will be announced following the review and validation of submitted votes.

Empowering Entrepreneurs Beyond the Pitch
The GSE Digital Startup Accelerator goes beyond traditional startup training by helping founders assess and strengthen three critical dimensions of entrepreneurial success: Business Readiness, Personal Brand Influence, and Entrepreneur Leadership Capacity, collectively introduced through GSE’s BPL Score framework.
Through expert-led sessions, diagnostic assessments, and access to an international entrepreneurial community, participants are encouraged to build businesses that can adapt, compete, and grow in an increasingly AI-driven economy.
The pitch competition extends that mission by giving emerging entrepreneurs an opportunity to practice communicating their business value, mobilize their networks, and build visibility for their ventures.

What’s Next?
Following the close of public voting on October 28, GSE will review and validate the results before announcing the Top 10 finalists who will present their companies during Demo Day on October 29.
The competition provides participating entrepreneurs with an opportunity to gain public visibility, sharpen their pitching skills, and connect their business stories with a broader global audience.
